Because chess is like a battle in the workplace, there have been sacrifices and gains in advantages, additionally, I choose chess to be one of my props. To metaphors that the hesitate movement about what she wants to be and struggling of the character.

The chess in " Queen Gambit " has a meaning that to understand this choice, we have to recognize the gambit as a metaphor that can reveal deep conceptual and social relationships. Observing these transformations through a metaphorical perspective, I see that chess was born from the analogy with the battlefield and the power of the king, with pieces. The moral of the story lies in the fact that she overcomes each of her obstacles and becomes a winner. The disadvantage (loss) becomes an advantage (gain) because she overcomes them. To understand the world through the lens of metaphor is to live as a choice we make as the movements of the pieces on a chessboard.
